HANDSY Privacy Policy

HANDSY Inc. ("HANDSY," "we," "us") makes the HandsyFIT Passport, a digital record of your nail geometry used to find your fit for press-on nails. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who can see it, and how you can have it deleted. It applies to gethandsy.com, the HANDSY capture, your HandsyFIT Passport and HandsyFIT Pro.

What we collect

  • Capture photos. The guided photos of your hands and nails you take in the HANDSY capture.

  • Nail measurements. The shape and size measurements we make from those photos for each nail.

  • Your HandsyFIT Passport. Your Passport number, your fit results and any HANDSY Credit on your Passport.

  • Contact details. Your name and email address, and your shipping address if you receive a physical set.

  • Reward details. The reward you backed on Kickstarter and the artist and designs you choose.

  • Website and email data. If you join our waitlist or emails, the information you give us and basic data about how you use our site and emails.

We don't use your photos to identify who you are. HANDSY only measures the shape of your nails to find your fit.

How we use it and who can see it

We use your information to:

  • Create your HandsyFIT Passport and find your fit

  • Review your fit, and check it again if a set doesn't fit

  • Update your Passport as we map new nail products

  • Make and deliver your rewards, and send you updates about HANDSY

  • Improve how accurately HANDSY measures and fits nails

Your photos and measurements are seen only by:

  • The HANDSY team, who run and review fits

  • Reviewers we hire to check captures and fits, who work under our instructions and may only use your information for HANDSY

  • The artist making your set, so they can make it to fit you

We also use trusted service providers to run HANDSY, such as website hosting, cloud storage, email and payments. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.

We never sell your photos or personal information, and we don't share them with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Storage, deletion and your rights

We store your information securely with our cloud providers and limit access to the people listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We keep your photos and measurements for as long as you have a HandsyFIT Passport, so we can check your fit and update it as we map new products. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete your photos, measurements and Passport, except for records we must keep by law, such as payment records.

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct it

  • Ask us to delete your photos and Passport data

  • Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email

To make a request, email hello@gethandsy.com. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Children

HANDSY is for anyone who loves nails, including young people. Accounts are held by adults: a parent or guardian can set up a HandsyFIT Passport for a child under 18 and must be present for the capture. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without a parent's consent. If you think a child has given us information without a parent's consent, email hello@gethandsy.com and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with its date. If the change is significant, we'll also let you know by email.
